Murder By Death
(Columbia, 1976)
Hit comedy mystery from the mind of Neil Simon, beautifully sending up the most beloved fictional detectives of literature and film via a cast of absolute maestros. This one hits on all cylinders, and the characterizations are perfection both as written, and as enacted. I never get tired of watching this film, and it's just as good now as it was nearly 40 years ago.
