Flick Pick: Slap Shot
Slap Shot (Universal, 1977)
When almost no one was looking in the late '70s, Paul Newman and director George Roy Hill snuck up to PA and made one of the funniest sports comedies of all time.
A good film with a personal connection for me as many of the goons at the end of the film were guys that played for the Buckaroos when I was growing up and attending their hockey school. Good flick pick.
