Uh, no offense intended, but as far as my wife and I are concerned, cats already rule the world.
My cats are smarter than the engineers on a few of my last designer contracts(emphatically NOT including the young engineer on the black box assignment in MI).
We lost a rescue from a neglect situation after she lived 8 years with us, and figured we'd wait several months and adopt a senior cat from the local SPCA, but the CDS(Cat Distribution System)decided that we needed a young mother cat reduced to eating bread that we put out for the local Snotlings. Mom stayed with us, and the kittens found homes through the SPCA.
A year passed, and the situation repeated itself, which cost me the money I was saving up for that FN-49 in 7 mm that I'm in lust with. Oh well, it's just money.
CDS is a power greater than The Force. We adopted my daughters cat due to personal logistics. A feral kitten strolled in a year later, so we have him. We now have yet another stray show up and just sort of moved in. Cats have 9 lives out of necessity just watching the trouble they can get into.
Mission: Encatable!

DeleteCats don't need thumbs. That's what they keep people for.
