Nope, the hallmark of the D party and other fanatics (religious or otherwise) is to never learn a lesson, ever. Only thing that keeps them going is they are still breathing but without apparent input from the brain. Call em jellyfish, they somehow survive without one.
Brother, they won't get it. Ever. The towel heads will lay low, the traitor left-tards will piss & moan, and before we know it, new terror attacks will be back on. Take off and nuke the site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
